Weekend wrap-up

Thursday:
Tristan Prettyman, John Butler Trio, and G. Love..all good things..

Friday:
My faith in Provo's party scene was shot dead...again. Thanks, Provo.

Saturday:
Complete annihilation of UCLA. I spent 8 dollars on Diet Coke and saw the most ridiculous pair of Utah girls I have ever seen. I'll make sure to wear my platform white glitter flip-flops next time, girls.

Also of note, Rooney came to Spoon Me (a sure sign that their career is on the up and up) and Sonic was so busy that they legitimately told us to "wait ten minutes and clock back in." No, Sonic..we will not. We will defy you and go through the drive-thru and get our grilled cheeses with tomatoes and you will like it. Hilarious.

Speaking of Fashion Week....

A few of my favorites...

Tracy Reese
Girl looks crazy and malnourished..but the dress is lovely.

Carolina Herrera
Remember my Great Gatsby party?....I'll just go pick this little number up.

Lela RoseI literally would wear anything this woman makes. She does design for Miss Jenna after all...

Monique Lhullier
Even the styling is classy.

I gravitate toward lady-like feminine pieces. I'll buy them in a month or two when they filter down into my price bracket...

Work that Updo

Classy Leighton was all over fashion week. A raid of her closet may be in serious order.

However, much more important matters like the naming of my unborn daughters are at hand. I like Peyton AND Leighton. Unfortunately, the usage of them together or within the same family is likely to result in tragedy for my doomed posterity. I know that I would have been upset if my sister's name was Nourtney. I apologize..bad joke.

Kudos

Britney looked like old-school Britney last night..crimped hair and showgirl silver dress and all...way to be Brit, way to be.

Also of note, Mr. Pattinson was looking awful fine and vampirey last night...moving his little movie back to Nov 21 was the best thing Summit could have done. Way to be Summit, way to be.

Jennifer Behr

Jennifer Behr creates many of the headbands used on precious little Gossip Girl. If I sell most of my vital organs, I, too, can purchase one of her gorgeous designs.

The jury is still out on whether or not she created Serena's gorgeous crystal number from Monday. I'll get back to you if I find the answer to this earth-shattering question....

Weekly Rant: Back to School Edition

First day of school at BYU means first day of school get to know you pre-k games. You can imagine my excitement. Moving on, one of the only things I can creepily look forward to is finding amusing prospects that I can stare at during the next four months to keep me from napping in class. Well, unfortunately my classes are mostly oldie classes now...so this game is no longer amusing for me. In my class of 60 with miss Heidi today, approximately 50 of them used their new marriages as their "something interesting about them" fact. Hmm..thanks BYU, what am I supposed to do with that? Stare at a married man for four months? Maybe I'll just retake Physical Science......

It's gonna be a scorcher

I am THRILLED that all of these nut jobs are back in my life. I'm not even just saying that because I have received multiple death threats if I didn't state that in a public forum. I legitimately like them...a lot.

You're freaking out right now Kaley. I know you are. I like you too. And John Taylor.

I dare you to watch One Tree Hill with us. There may or may not be flesh wounds involved if you so choose. Nanny Carrie? What?! Talk amongst yourselves.
