Chocolate Thighs

After a rather lengthy and thorough investigation of our candy jar at work, I've decided that mini twixes are far superior to all other mini chocolates. I may or may not have picked out every single one (over a VERY lengthy period of time, ahem) out of a three pound mix of candy. It's been a productive week. At least, my thighs seem to think so.

Glory Glory Hallelujah

These crazies returned to Provo yesterday after a four month hiatus in Vegas. I don't think I have laughed so hard or had such a rush of caloric intake since they left. Sweet, sweet angels from heaven..

AND..this little crazy will return TODAY from CA. I can't wait for another semester of sociological theory and wheezing up the steps from hell with her.

As long as they don't play "beer for my horses" anymore, our friendship will remain intact. That's a threat, by the way. Much love.

Copycat

I'm pretty sure I wore an outfit almost identical to this a few weeks ago. Is Banana stalking my facebook? And, more importantly, does this mean that my wardrobe has some relevance in the fashion world? My life has so much meaning.

You should probably....

..come with me to Salt Lake tomorrow to see Ms. Neko Case. For Free. Delicious food vendors everywhere. Hippies in abundance. All good things.

Forget New Year's

New school year, new resolve to do the following:

1) Be myself, whatever that may mean

2) Buy produce from stands on the side of the road

3) Limit cereal intake to a bowl a week (ahem)

4) Experience all that Utah has to offer in fall, even if it means cliche, nerdy activities-corn maze anyone?

5) Write my papers before the morning that they are due

6) Buy my first beanie since moving to Utah three years ago so as to avoid frostbite of the head

7) Read books under trees with caramel apple cider in hand

8) End self-deprecation-not good for the soul

9) Buy all necessary yoga accoutrement to theoretically up my attendance to three times a week

9) Plan my life. Daily Nashville Craigslist checks seem to make me feel productive, for now

10) Be happy with where I am and what I could do in the future

Wait, what did he just say?

Last night on The Hills, while discussing the ill feelings between Speidi and Lauren, Spencer said the following:

"It’s like trying to tell Iran and Israel to get along. It’s not gonna happen."

Wait, seriously? Did that just come out of your mouth? Did you just make a comparison between Middle Eastern violence and your manufactured shallow drama? You've reached a new low, le douche.

Catch it with a mason jar....

My favorite way to display flowers. Now, if only I could afford the flowers....or the mason jar.
