Snippet and Ink just planned my (theoretical/future/non-existent) wedding! Minus the hay bales..we're good to go. I love the chandelier in the tree, and the lighting...so gorgeous. Pure genius this woman..definitely a daily read.

Friday Music

This CD is one my best recent music purchases. Ernie was amazing live, his voice is ridiculous. I particularly fancy "Something's come over me" , "When the lights go down", and his cover of Mr. Joel's "And so it goes." I just said fancy..don't worry about it.
Also, his name is Ernie, which is legit,also he isn't signed, so give him money, and also he likes Dave Barnes. I think I've provided enough reasoning for the purchase..just let it happen.

American Idol

There was a blood curdling scream in my apartment that could be heard throughout Provo last night. And, that was just for Jason Castro...hallelujah is right. Although I saw it coming, our little Archie came in second. Cook has been growing on me lately-this may be solely based on his looks-so I wasn't entirely disappointed. Archuleta's duet with OneRepublic was SICK though, you can't deny him that. Oh, and George Michael-you're not relevant anymore, and you should probably be in jail for exposing yourself or something of the like..seriously where do they get these people?

There was unsightly belly exposure at the end.. and that just ain't right.

At least my Tueday and Wednesday nights will be free again..until next January.

Just throwin' it out there

I don't ask for much..either a big man who can cook, or a big man who can play the guitar and sing. Having both would be overwhelming, but entirely welcomed.

A few weeks ago, the gals and I teenybopped it up in Murray to see little Archie's hometown visit..... ...then later that night I got my acoustic music fix with Ernie Halter and Josh Hoge.

Minus the jeans..yes please. Everyone questions my sanity, but Josh meets the aforementioned criteria, and thus is included on my yes list.

Also included on my yes list...
I realized my attraction to mr. flay while watching him grill on his rooftop deck..and we all know how i feel about decks..so this attraction may be called into question.

Regardless, tongs or picks are most definitely in order.

I was flipping through MS outdoor living..and came across this fabulous little lighting trick. That is VELLUM clipped over white Christmas lights...SO genius Martha.. you may have a penchant for illegal insider trading..but you sure know how to light my patio.

In last month's InStyle they featured a designer for J. Crew who said she picks out a different J. Crew cashmere cardigan every day, and puts her outfits together according to that color.
